GLS / NEXT Precision Marketing Recognized as the Midwest’s Most Awarded Printing Company and 2016 Best of Show Winner at PIM Star of Excellence Awards
GLS / NEXT Precision Marketing announces it has been recognized as the Midwest’s most award-winning print company at the annual Printing Industry Midwest (PIM) 2016 Star of Excellence Awards ceremony. GLS / NEXT received an unprecedented 28 awards, including Best of Show, five Best of Category, nine Best of Class, one Best of Division, 11 Certificates of Merit and one Honorable Mention.
The Best of Show accolade, selected by a panel of veteran print industry judges, was awarded to GLS / NEXT for the creation of the Hewlett Packard (HP) Indigo sample book, “We Stand by Ink.” The groundbreaking piece was produced entirely on HP Indigo digital print technology, making it the first-ever PIM Best of Show awarded to a work produced on a digital press.

The company’s PIM Best of Show entry and Best of Category winning entries will move on to further recognition in the Printing Industries of America (PIA) National Premier Print Award competition.
The annual PIM Star of Excellence awards competition recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of print communications in the Midwest. The competition promotes excellence in print communications and awards companies and individuals who produce the best in printed media. Print pieces are eligible in 31 different categories.
